The computer is not responding, display doesn’t come up; when I start up computer my hard drive light blinks for about 5 seconds and nothing else. Compare this to a car repair. Just to let everyone know that the non-functioning wireless problem also affects other models of HP laptops.

I had the exact same problem and after hours with tech support it was determined that it was fried and I would have to replace the whole wireless card.
The BIOS is locked to only certain cards and while there are hacks to get it working again that’s best left to those that research that. Didn’t find what you were looking for? I have not had any trouble since.
